How to assign job positions to staff members?

Assigning job positions



Make sure your team members are assigned job positions so you can segment and filter your reports by job positions. The job position will appear on exports, schedules, timesheets, and more and allow you to easily filter all reports.


To assign job position for a staff member do the following:

➡️ Go to the Staff page.

➡️ Click on the staff member you'd like to set up a position for.



➡️ Select a position from the drop-down list of existing positions, or click Manage Positions to add new options.



➡️ Click on the Save button..

The assigned position should appear next to the staff member's name.



Please note, job positions do not restrict or control what functions are available for a user. To control what information users can access, read about permissions:

After assigning a job position, you can now filter most reports using the job position of your staff members.
