How do I add new staff members?
Adding Staff Members to Easyteam
To add staff members to Easyteam and streamline your team operations for both Shopify and external staff, follow these steps:
Add Your Shopify Staff to Easyteam
➡️ Open Easyteam in your Shopify Admin and navigate to the Staff page, or click here.
Staff members with the status Not added, are on Shopify but not yet on Easyteam and should be added.
➡️ Click the checkboxes next to 'Not added' staff members to select them.
➡️ Click on the Add to Easyteam button.
After selecting the staff members, the staff details screen for all selected employees will appear. Most of their information will be automatically imported from Shopify.
➡️ Fill in the missing details for each staff member: Permission level, PIN code, Salary info.
➡️ Click Add to Easyteam.
The staff members will be immediately added to Easyteam and will now appear under the 'Staff' screen with a status of either 'Active' or 'Missing PIN'.
Important: A PIN code is required for clocking in and out. The PIN is separate from the Shopify PIN code but we recommend to match it to be the same on both Easyteam and Shopify. See How to assign PIN codes to my staff?
That's it! Your Shopify users can now open the Easyteam tiles on the POS and clock in/out.

Invite External Users to Easyteam
Follow these steps to add staff members to Easyteam if they don't have a Shopify user account:
➡️ Open Easyteam in your Shopify Admin and go to the Staff page.
➡️ Click on Add non-Shopify staff.
➡️Fill in the Name, Email, Permissions level, PIN Code.
➡️ Select a Location and Job Position from the drop-down lists.
➡️ Click Add Staff
Staff members will receive an email invitation with a link to set up their Easyteam password and login.
