How to Invite Staff Members to Payroll
Adding team members to EasyTeam Payroll is a simple process that starts with inviting them to EasyTeam. This guide walks you through the steps to get your staff set up on payroll.
Important: Before starting, ensure your staff members are added to EasyTeam. Read our guide on How to Add New Staff Members.
Inviting Staff to Payroll
➡️ Navigate to the Staff page in EasyTeam.
➡️ Select the relevant staff member.
➡️ Scroll down to Payroll Profile.
➡️ Check the Staff payroll status badge and verify they're on the status 'Not on payroll'.
➡️ Mark the checkbox "Activate payroll for this staff member".
➡️ Mark the relevant checkboxes for this staff member: Overtime eligibility, POS tips eligibility, Commissions eligibility.
➡️ Select the 'Classification type', either an employee or a contractor, and a Pay Group.
💡 These settings can be modified after the staff member accepts their payroll invitation.

Next Steps
After sending the invitation:
The staff member receives an email with a secure link
They'll complete their profile with bank details, tax info, and social security number
Their payroll status on the Staff page will update to 'Onboarded' once complete
Some staff members might get the Action Required status which means they need to complete an additional action or upload more documents. Reach out to support for more details.
