Easyteam pricing is based on the size of your team, with access to all features.

Easyteam bills through Shopify, so the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice. Your price adjusts automatically as your team grows or shrinks.

This article explains what each plan costs, what's included, how to start your free trial, how to get Easyteam free with payroll, and how to check or reduce your charges.

How Easyteam pricing works

• Seats. A seat is one user or employee in your Easyteam account. On the Retail plan each seat is $5 USD per month, with a $30 USD monthly minimum.
• Automatic recalculation. Easyteam recounts your staff on the 1st of each month and updates your charges based on your active user count.
• Shopify billing. Easyteam is installed from the Shopify App Store and billed on your Shopify invoice.
• Payroll. Running payroll with Easyteam makes your time and attendance free for up to 2 locations. For more information, refer to Get Easyteam free with Easyteam Payroll.

Retail

Retail is the most popular plan for Shopify POS stores. It costs $5 USD per employee per month, with a $30 USD monthly minimum.

Small teams pay the minimum, and larger teams pay only for the people they have:

Every Retail subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, so you can set up your whole team and run real shifts before you're charged.

Enterprise

Enterprise is for Shopify Plus merchants, larger teams, and businesses with advanced needs. It adds custom solutions, data transfer, custom feature development, dedicated onboarding and migration, and premium support.

Enterprise pricing is quoted per merchant based on team size and the features you need. Contact our sales team to discuss pricing for your requirements.

Get Easyteam free with Easyteam Payroll

If you run payroll with Easyteam, you don't pay for Easyteam. Time tracking and basic scheduling are free for up to 2 locations, and your only cost is the Payroll add-on.

This is not a limited-time promotion. It applies for as long as you run payroll with Easyteam.

What you get for free

• Time tracking - clock in and out on Shopify POS, mobile, or web, with timesheets you can review, edit, approve, and export.
• Basic scheduling - build and publish weekly schedules so your team knows when and where to work.

What you pay for

The Payroll add-on, which covers:

• Automated tax filing - automatic tax calculations and payments, plus quarterly and year-end filings.
• Direct deposit - a 2 to 4 day deposit schedule, with unlimited payroll runs each month.
• Paystubs and year-end forms - generate paystubs, W-2s, and 1099s.

Eligibility

• Your business operates in the U.S. or Canada. Payroll isn't available in other countries, or in Quebec.
• You run payroll through Easyteam Payroll rather than another provider.

Easyteam Payroll pricing

Payroll runs from the hours you've already tracked in Easyteam, so there's no data entry or import/export needed. It works with any subscription plan.

Payroll pricing has two components:

• Base fee - $45 USD per month.
• Per-active-worker fee - $6 USD per month for each worker you actually pay that month.

You can run unlimited payrolls each month at no extra cost. For example, if you have 5 workers but pay only 3 in a given month, your Payroll cost is $63: the $45 base fee plus 3 × $6.

There are additional charges for some payroll-related activities. For year-end tax form fees, operational fees, and full details, refer to the Easyteam Payroll guide.

Features included in each plan

Every plan includes access to the full set of Easyteam modules:

• Time Clock - clock in and out on Shopify POS, mobile, or web.
• Timesheets - review, edit, approve, and export time cards.
• Scheduling - build, publish, and repeat weekly schedules, including AI scheduling.
• Commissions - fixed and tiered commission plans.
• Sales Attribution - attribute POS sales to the staff who made them.
• Sales Goals - set and track targets per location or staff member.
• Checklists - opening, closing, and daily task lists on POS.
• Manager's View - a PIN-protected POS view of who's working, late, or on break.
• Reports and Exports - labor cost, hours, and sales reporting.

There are no per-feature charges or usage restrictions. The only paid extra is Payroll.

Start your subscription and free trial

Your subscription starts when you install Easyteam and approve the charge in Shopify.

Steps:

1. Install Easyteam from the Shopify App Store.
2. Review your estimated monthly price on the approval screen.
3. Click Approve to confirm the subscription.

Your 14-day free trial begins immediately, and you won't be charged until it ends. You can uninstall at any time before then.

About the "maximum charge" notice

The Shopify approval screen may warn that your maximum monthly charge could be up to $320 USD. This is not what you'll be billed.

Shopify requires every app to declare an upper limit on the approval screen, and this figure is that ceiling, not your price. You can safely approve it. The $320 ceiling only becomes relevant for stores with more than 50 employees, in which case a member of our team will reach out after installation to set you up correctly.

Check your charges in Shopify

Because Easyteam bills through Shopify, your itemized charges live in your Shopify Admin rather than in Easyteam.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Settings.
2. Click Apps and sales channels.
3. Click Easyteam.
4. Review Billing and usage charges.

Change your seat count

Your bill follows your team size, so removing people lowers your cost. What happens to their data depends on which action you take.

• Remove a staff member - their seat charge stops from the next billing cycle.
• Delete a staff member - their seat charge stops and their historical data is permanently removed.
• Archive or pause a staff member - useful for seasonal team members you'll bring back. Message our support team using the 💬 chat bubble in the bottom-right corner to request archival.
• Uninstall Easyteam - all future charges stop.

Troubleshoot pricing and billing

Shopify says my maximum charge is $320

That's Shopify's required spending ceiling for the app, not your price. Approve it, and you'll be billed based on your actual seat count. It only matters for stores with more than 50 employees, and our team contacts those stores directly.

I run payroll with Easyteam but I'm still being charged for Easyteam

Check that your payroll onboarding is complete and that you're running payroll. If you still see charges in your account, message us using the 💬 chat bubble.

I have more than 2 locations

The free time and attendance offer covers up to 2 locations. The system will automatically deduct the charges for employees in two of your accounts. Please send us a message using the chat bubble with any billing questions.

My bill went up this month

Your seat count grew. Easyteam recounts your staff on the 1st of each month and charges $5 USD per employee, so adding people raises your bill once you're past the $30 monthly minimum. Check your current staff list on the Staff page.

I removed a staff member but I was still charged

Seat changes take effect from the next billing cycle, not immediately. The removal appears on your following invoice.

I can't find my Easyteam invoice

Easyteam charges appear on your Shopify invoice, not as a separate bill. Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels > Easyteam > Billing and usage charges.

I want to keep a seasonal employee without paying for the seat

Ask our support team to archive them instead of deleting them. Archiving keeps their historical data while removing the seat charge.

I need a feature that isn't in my plan

Every module is available on all plans, so there's nothing to upgrade for. If you need custom development, data migration, or dedicated onboarding, contact our sales team about Enterprise.

I want to cancel

Uninstalling Easyteam from your Shopify Admin cancels the subscription automatically. If you use Easyteam Payroll, contact us before uninstalling so we can help you migrate your payroll data first. For more information, refer to How to cancel my subscription.
