# How do I create a new commission plan?

###### ${color}[#696969](Commission plans decide how what sales grant a commission to your staff members and what amount would be granted to each staff member. EasyTeam supports multiple commission plan types, allowing you to customize the way you incentive your sales team.) 📈

###### ${color}[#696969](To create a commission plan, follow these steps:)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Go to the **Commissions** screen and click on the **Commission Plans** button. )

${color}[#696969](The **Fixed** method provides a straightforward approach where a percentage or flat amount is applied to all relevant sales. This ensures predictability and simplicity for both employees and managers.)

${color}[#696969](The advanced **Sales goals** method calculates a commission rate that varies based on the sales volume achieved by your employee.)

#### ${color}[#696969](Option 1: Configure a **fixed commission** plan)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Choose a **name** for your commission plan.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](In the **Commissions** section, choose the products that apply by checking the box on the left.)
${color}[#696969](Use the filters and search buttons to easily find products and categories of products.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](For each product you select, click either the $ option for a **flat commission** or the ％ options for a **percent commission**.)
${color}[#696969](Then, fill in a commission amount or a commission percentage to apply on this product.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Define the **sales goals** and the **calculation method**:)

${color}[#696969](Then, input the commission step ranges under **Sales goals** and choose a **commission percentage** for each step.)

#### ${color}[#696969](Verifying your commission plan)

${color}[#696969](To make sure your new commission plan is working as expected, follow these steps:) 

➡️ ${color}[#696969](First, make sure your sales are *attributed correctly* to a staff member that is defined in your commission plan. See [How to attribute a sale to a staff member?](/en/article/how-to-attribute-a-sale-to-a-staff-member-usbxrb/))

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Go to the **Commissions** screen and select the staff member that should be attributed.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Select the commission plan from the commission plans list.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Use the **date picker** to select dates in which relevant sales happened.)

➡️ ${color}[#696969](Find an attributed sale in this list and make sure the calculated value in the **Commission** column is correct.)
